Apple is definitely not putting the customer first here. Very unfriendly policy for those of us who prefer not to use one of those three carriers.

Also casually dropped at the end, Apple Watch is moving from a 24 month payment plan to a 12-month.

I have to wonder if Goldman Sachs got left holding the bag on too many scammers.

This isn’t just Apple Card financing, this requires any financing to be with a connected carrier.

Apple was probably getting complaints from the carriers for offering their own financing options…

Which sucks, because any carrier financed device will be locked, whereas the Apple financing wouldn’t be.
