Let’s see how this will resolve. Of cause I would like to see more games for Mac. But I doubt the devs are taking this chance.

In the past several events, Apple has shown interest in making Mac as gaming device. We will have to see whether the latest endeavor will yield any interest from developers.

People are using this tool to play windows games on the Mac. It’s very similar to what the steam deck does to get windows games to run on its Linux version. The downside is it has to also translate x86 code to arm which will slow games down. Hopefully apple puts effort into this and releases a consumer version that they officially support. I’m not sure how many developers will use this tool to actually port their games over but if apple made a big push to get support from game studios it might work. It definitely working on the steam deck

I have been interested in a Mac mainly for development or surfing the internet. But now, possibly the single thing I want my windows machine for is coming to MacOS. I really hope Apple will spend more time for gaming on MacOS starting with this!
