Perth, Western Australia - Brookside Energy Limited (ASX: BRK) (OTC Pink: RDFEF), an energy exploration and production company, is delighted to announce the successful production testing of a new horizon in the Juanita Well, located within the expanded Bradbury Area of Interest (AOI) in Oklahoma's Arbuckle Uplift - Ardmore Basin. The test recorded a peak rate of 258 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD), with 78% being oil.

Highlights

Production testing of a secondary target sand in the Simpson Group achieved a peak rate of 258 BOEPD (78% Oil).

The zone has been temporarily shut-in as production plans are being optimised, based on the success of this production test and a previously successful test of a lower horizon (329 BOEPD, 75% Oil).

The ongoing production testing in the Juanita Well has delivered promising results, further solidifying Brookside Energy's presence in the region. The peak production test rate of 258 BOEPD, with a significant portion being oil, demonstrates the potential of this secondary target sand within the Simpson Group. Additionally, the previous successful test of a lower horizon, which recorded a peak rate of 329 BOEPD (75% Oil), has encouraged the Black Mesa team to optimise development scenarios for these two zones.

The current plan focuses on initial production from these two zones, with the intention of testing the remaining horizons in the future. The company is actively working on establishing commercial production from these zones and aims to provide further updates as progress is made.

Commenting on the announcement, David Prentice, Manager Director of Brookside Energy, expressed his satisfaction with the test results and stated, "We are once again pleased to report these very encouraging test results from our Juanita Well, our first well in this new AOI. These results come on the back of the earlier positive results from the test of the deeper primary target. The team is now busy working on the plan to establish commercial production from these two zones, and we look forward to providing further updates as production and sales are established. "

About the Juanita Well

The Juanita Well, operated by Black Mesa Energy, LLC, a subsidiary of Brookside, was drilled as a vertical well with a measured depth of approximately 6,350 feet. The well targets ten potential oil reservoirs, including zones within the highly productive Simpson Group, which have a proven track record of production in the area.

Brookside Energy's success in the Juanita Well marks a significant milestone in the company's exploration efforts within the Bradbury AOI. With promising test results and ongoing development plans, the company is well-positioned for future growth in the energy sector.
