Raiden Resources Limited (ASX: RDN, DAX: YM4) has announced significant additions to its technical team as it gears up for its upcoming lithium drilling campaign at the Andover South project in the Pilbara region. The company has appointed Sean Halpin as Chief Operating Officer, Aaron Hawley as acting project manager, and Mike Roche as a geologist. These appointments are set to enhance the company's technical and operational capabilities, bringing extensive lithium exploration experience, particularly within the Andover Complex.

Leadership Strengthened with Sean Halpin as COO

Sean Halpin, a graduate of the Royal School of Mines in London, brings over 36 years of experience in the mining industry, both in Australia and internationally. Halpin’s expertise spans the entire mining value chain, from early exploration to resource development and mining operations. His recent work has focused on managing exploration and resource development programs for lithium, gold, and other metals in Western Australia, positioning him as a key figure in Raiden's strategic advancement.

Halpin’s leadership, safety management skills, and ability to build multidisciplinary teams are expected to play a pivotal role as Raiden moves into a highly active phase.

“With Sean on board, we have gained critical leadership and operational expertise, which is essential to unlocking the full potential of our projects, particularly within the Andover Complex,” commented Raiden’s Managing Director, Dusko Ljubojevic.

Project Management Enhanced with Aaron Hawley

Aaron Hawley, appointed as acting project manager for the Andover South lithium campaign, adds three decades of exploration and mining experience to the team. Known for his work on early-stage “greenfield” projects and his role in mineral discoveries, Hawley was notably involved in the initial discovery and development of the Andover Lithium Project during his tenure at Azure Minerals. His extensive background in designing sampling and drilling programs will be instrumental in advancing Raiden’s lithium exploration initiatives.

Hawley’s appointment underscores Raiden’s commitment to bringing on board experts with direct experience in the Andover Complex, further strengthening the company’s position as it embarks on this critical drilling campaign.

Geologist Mike Roche Joins Andover South Drilling Program

Mike Roche, a recent addition to the team as a geologist, brings his experience from working on the Andover Lithium Project and other commodities across Western Australia. After graduating from University College Dublin in 2019, Roche has honed his skills in exploration geology, focusing on lithium, iron ore, nickel, copper, and rare earth elements.

During his time with Azure Minerals, Roche played a significant role in identifying previously unrecognized spodumene-hosted outcrops, contributing to the understanding of lithium mineralization in the region. His technical competencies in mapping, logging, and structural interpretation will be critical as Raiden progresses the Andover South drilling program.

Strategic Appointments Signal Confidence in Upcoming Drilling

The new appointments reflect Raiden’s strategy to build a robust team capable of executing high-standard, safe, and technically sound drilling operations. The company’s management has indicated that further appointments may be made as the campaign advances, signaling a proactive approach to assembling a team equipped to meet the complex challenges of lithium exploration.

“Raiden’s team has gained invaluable expertise from the Andover lithium discovery itself, giving us confidence that the upcoming drilling program will be executed to the highest technical and safety standards,” said Ljubojevic.
