Core Lithium Ltd. has recently achieved approval for early works on its BP33 Underground Mine project, a major development for the company. This comes as the Northern Territory government granted Core Lithium mining approval for the second proposed mine at the Finniss lithium operation in close proximity to Darwin.

The board of Core Lithium approved funding for the early works program at the BP33 Underground Project, which is considered the second proposed mine at the Finniss Lithium Operation. In addition, the early works funding of AUD 45-50 million has been approved for BP33, with the final investment decision for the project expected by the end of Q1 CY24.

This significant milestone showcases the strong progress Core Lithium has made in its mining endeavours and emphasises the company's commitment to meeting the rising global demand for lithium, which is a crucial material in electric vehicle (EV) batteries.
