Australian lithium miner, Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO), has announced the arrival of the second spodumene concentrate shipment from the Finniss Lithium Operation at Darwin Port. The shipment of approximately 13,100 tonnes of spodumene concentrate will complete sales agreements with Sichuan Yahua, for 18,500 tonnes of spodumene concentrate.

The loading of the Silver Lady ship, scheduled to arrive today, will commence soon after, and the shipment will set sail for Zhangjiagang in China upon completion. Both shipments were sold on a Free on Board (FOB) basis, linked to the Fastmarkets (spodumene 6% CIF China) price, and are included in the company's existing off-take agreement with Yahua, covering the sale of 300,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate.

Core Lithium CEO, Gareth Manderson, expressed his satisfaction at the timely production and delivery of the second concentrate shipment, noting that it marks a vital milestone for the company and Finniss. He highlighted that the focus now is on reliable production and delivery of spodumene concentrate to the long-term offtake partners, as they ramp up to steady-state operations at Finniss.

The sales agreements with Yahua represent a significant achievement for Core Lithium, emphasising the strategic importance of the Finniss Lithium Operation in the Australian lithium mining industry.
