Assay results from the first drill hole of the resource extension drilling program at Critical Resources Limited's Mavis Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada have revealed a significant thick intercept of high-grade lithium mineralization.

Ontario, Canada - Critical Resources Limited (ASX:CRR), a leading lithium exploration and project development company, has announced promising assay results from the summer 2023 resource extension drilling program at its 100%-owned Mavis Lake Lithium Project. The drill hole (MF23-207) has provided the widest interval of spodumene mineralization recorded to date at the project, highlighting its substantial upside potential.

Assay Results Confirm Significant Mineralization

The assay results confirm the significance of the intercept, with an average grade of 1. 18% Li2O across a 74. 4m intercept. The drill hole also revealed multiple sections grading over 1.

8% Li2O, with some sections reaching up to 3. 28% Li2O. This is an exceptional interval in terms of both thickness and grade of spodumene mineralization, indicating the promising potential for a future resource upgrade.

Thick, High-Grade Intercept at MF23-207

Drill hole MF23-207 intersected a thick intercept of high-grade lithium mineralization at the Mavis Lake Main Zone. The significant intersection of spodumene mineralised pegmatite returned the following results:

74. 4m at 1. 18% Li2O, from 176. 15m down-hole
Including 32. 95m at 1. 81% Li2O, from 215. 6m down-hole

This wide, high-grade intercept is located outside the current resource model and is expected to significantly contribute to the current Mineral Resource at the Mavis Lake Lithium Project.

Exciting Prospects for Plunging Trend

The intercept is interpreted to be associated with a new plunging trend, which Critical Resources is eager to comprehensively drill test in the upcoming weeks. Permits for new drill pads have also been submitted to further explore the extent of this significant mineralization trend. These developments provide great potential for expanding the current resource base.

Ongoing Resource Extension Drilling

Critical Resources is continuing the resource extension drilling program at the Mavis Lake Main Zone, with further assay results pending. The company remains committed to unlocking the full potential of the Mavis Lake Lithium Project and enhancing its position in the lithium market.

As Critical Resources Limited continues to deliver positive assay results, the company solidifies its position as a significant player in the lithium exploration and development industry.
