Delta Lithium Limited (DLI), a mineral exploration company focused on the Yinnetharra Lithium Project in Western Australia, has reported promising drill results from its ongoing program at the Malinda prospect. The project aims to explore the continuity and extent of lithium mineralization in the area.
The drilling program has yielded positive outcomes, intersecting multiple zones of spodumene-bearing pegmatite in all holes. Some notable results include 33m at 1. 9% Li2O, 19m at 1. 6% Li2O, 11m at 2. 0% Li2O, and 14m at 1.

7% Li2O. These findings confirm consistent, thick, and predictable lithium mineralization with high-grade concentrations and low iron content at Malinda.
The results also indicate the potential for resource expansion along strike and down-dip, as well as the discovery of new pegmatites within the project area. With 95 holes completed and assays pending for 95 samples, the drilling program is set to continue for another two months, with a total of 200 holes planned for 25,000 meters.
DLI is confident that the Yinnetharra project, situated in a favourable jurisdiction with access to infrastructure and a skilled workforce, will become a significant source of lithium supply for the growing battery market. The company believes that these encouraging drill results will bolster its prospects in meeting the increasing demand for lithium.
