Diamond Drilling Unveils Promising DeGrussa Style Mineralised System at Revere Gold Project

A targeted VTEM diamond drilling program conducted at the Revere Gold Project has successfully penetrated a DeGrussa style mineralised system. The exploration efforts, which covered an extensive 8. 5km target area, yielded promising results with significant concentrations of copper and zinc discovered at varying intersections.

Three diamond drill holes, totalling 1038 meters, were completed as part of the program. The drilling results revealed the presence of mafic breccia, volcaniclastics, shales, and various mineralised zones rich in chalcopyrite, sphalerite, and pyrrhotite/pyrite. Portable XRF results indicated copper concentrations of up to 5. 7% and zinc concentrations of up to 4.

Currently, the core samples obtained from the drilling are being prepared for assay, which will provide a more detailed analysis of the mineral content and potential economic viability of the mineralised system. Additionally, an expedited downhole electromagnetic survey has been conducted, and the results are eagerly awaited to guide the next phase of drilling.

The Chief Operating Officer, Simon Philips, expressed excitement about the drilling results at the Revere Gold Project. He emphasised the significance of drilling into such a large mineralised system on the first pass, highlighting the immense potential of the target area. The initial three diamond drill holes were specifically designed to test electromagnetic conductors identified as potential volcanic-hosted massive sulphides at depth. The geological sequences observed bear striking similarities to the Sandfire (ASX: SFR) DeGrussa VHMS deposit, amplifying the geological importance of the findings.

Looking ahead, the upcoming assay results and downhole electromagnetic surveys will provide crucial insights for further exploration and testing of the mineralised system. To accelerate the extension of the current program, additional drilling rig mobilisation is already underway.
