Dreadnought Resources Discovers High-Grade Rare Earth Elements and Niobium Zones at Mangaroon Project in Western Australia

Dreadnought Resources Ltd. (ASX: DRE) has made an exciting breakthrough at its wholly-owned Mangaroon project in Western Australia. The company has identified high-grade rare earth elements (REEs) and niobium zones during an 82-hole drilling program spanning 7,813 meters. This discovery marks a significant milestone for Dreadnought Resources and opens up new possibilities for the region's mineral resources.

The focus of attention lies on the C3 and C5 carbonatites, which are part of a larger complex of intrusive rocks. This complex is believed to be the source of regional REE and associated mineralization. The company has confirmed the presence of REE and phosphate mineralization within the weathered carbonatites, along with high-grade ironstones containing REE, niobium, and zircon.

Notable highlights from the drilling program include:

A 62-meter-wide section at C3 with total rare earth oxide (TREO) grades at 1. 68%, including 20% of high-value magnet metals neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr).

A nine-meter-wide section at C3 with TREO grades at 3. 88%, including 22% NdPr.

A fifteen-meter-wide section at C3 with TREO grades at 3. 26%, including 21% NdPr.

A six-meter-wide section at C5 with TREO grades at 1. 32%, including 19% NdPr.

A four-meter-wide section at C5 with niobium oxide grades at 0. 66%.

Dean Tuck, Managing Director of Dreadnought Resources, expressed satisfaction with the results, highlighting the immense potential of the Mangaroon project to host significant REE and niobium mineralization. Tuck revealed plans to commence a follow-up drilling program in April to further define the extent and continuity of the mineralization and explore other targets within the project area.

Covering an area of over 1,000 square kilometers, the Mangaroon project is situated 250 kilometers southeast of Exmouth, Western Australia. It encompasses several targets for REE, niobium, gold, copper, and nickel mineralization. In addition to Mangaroon, Dreadnought Resources also owns the Illaara gold project and the Tarraji-Yampi nickel-copper-platinum group elements project in Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources Ltd. is a mineral exploration company with a strong focus on discovering and developing world-class deposits in Australia. The company aims to create value for its shareholders by delivering high-quality projects that can supply critical metals for the green energy transition.

As of July 10, 2023, Dreadnought Resources Ltd. shares were last traded at $0. 055, reflecting the market's positive response to the recent discovery at the Mangaroon project. This significant development positions the company for future success in the mineral exploration sector.
