High Grade Lithium Intercepted at Lake Johnston

TG Metals Limited (ASX:TG6) has reported promising results from its exploration drilling activities at the Lake Johnston Li-Ni-Au Project. The focus of the drilling was on the Burmeister lithium soil anomaly within the project, and the initial findings are highly encouraging.

During the drilling process, spodumene-bearing pegmatite was intercepted, revealing high grades of up to 2. 28% Li2O. This is a significant discovery, indicating the presence of valuable lithium mineralization at Lake Johnston.

TG Metals CEO, Mr. David Selfe, expressed his satisfaction with the initial drilling results, especially considering that only a small portion of the soil anomaly has been tested so far. Mr. Selfe also highlighted the presence of multiple pegmatites, which consistently exhibit widths ranging from 8 to 12 meters. These pegmatites are rich in spodumene, a mineral known for its high lithium content.

The Burmeister lithium soil anomaly is extensive, covering an area measuring 4. 5 kilometers by 1. 7 kilometers. The drilling was conducted on two lines spaced 200 meters apart, which provides valuable data on the mineralization potential within the anomaly.

Moving forward, TG Metals plans to commence the next phase of drilling to explore the lateral and depth potential of the lithium pegmatite system at Lake Johnston. This additional drilling campaign is expected to provide further insights into the size and quality of the lithium deposits within the project.
