Lake Resources JORC Update Increases Measured and Indicated Resource by 250% for its Flagship Kachi Project

Clean lithium developer Lake Resources NL (ASX: LKE) announced today a substantial increase in their Measured and Indicated Resource estimates for their flagship Kachi Project. Following deeper drilling and continued hydrogeological characterization, the resource estimates have grown by an impressive 250%.

Significantly Larger Resource Estimates

The company's deeper drilling efforts, reaching 600 meters below ground surface (bgs), have resulted in significantly larger resource estimates. The Measured and Indicated Resources for Lake Resources have increased from 2. 9 to 7. 3 million tonnes (Mt) of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE). These estimates cover a depth of 600 meters over an expansive area of 143.

8 square kilometers.
Total Resource Estimate Exceeds 10. 6 Mt of LCE

With the updated measurements, the total resource estimate for Lake Resources' Kachi Project now exceeds an impressive 10. 6 Mt of LCE. This signifies a significant milestone for the company and reinforces their position as a leading clean lithium developer.

Favourable Subsurface Conditions

Previous testing conducted by Lake Resources confirmed highly favorable subsurface conditions for both lithium extraction and injection in the central resource area where the Measured and Indicated Resources are located. This finding further validates the potential of the Kachi Project and its ability to contribute to Lake Resources' ongoing success.

Inferred Resources and Lithium Concentrations

Surrounding the Measured and Indicated Resources are Inferred Resources of 3. 3 Mt of LCE, defined over a vast area of 130. 9 square kilometers. This indicates the potential for further growth and expansion in lithium extraction.

During the drilling process, Lake Resources achieved remarkable results. At the K24D41 location in the southern sector, the company intersected some of the highest lithium concentrations to date at the project. Grades of 180-348 milligrams per liter (mg/L) of lithium were recorded over a 445-meter span, with an average concentration of 267 mg/L.

Similarly, at the K23D40 location in the northern sector, deeper drilling uncovered coarse-grained alluvial fan materials. This section averaged a lithium concentration of 228 mg/L over 322 meters, with a maximum measurement of 254 mg/L. Notably, this hole is located 3. 5 kilometers northwest of the K22R39 site.

Future Prospects

The updated resource estimate for Lake Resources' Kachi Project represents a significant boost to the company's potential. With Measured and Indicated Resources more than doubling and the total resource estimate surpassing 10. 6 Mt of LCE, Lake Resources is set for substantial growth in the clean lithium sector.

Investors and industry experts eagerly await further developments from Lake Resources as they continue to advance their Kachi Project and leverage the favorable subsurface conditions discovered. As the demand for clean energy continues to rise, Lake Resources is well-positioned to meet the growing market needs for sustainable lithium extraction.
