The Precursor Production Facility (PPF) in Gladstone, QLD, stands as a beacon of innovation for Alpha, currently in small-scale commercial production of 5N purity aluminium nitrate precursors. The facility is now in the final phases of commissioning additional process equipment, aimed at expanding its capacity to produce a comprehensive range of high purity aluminium products.

Stage 2 of HPA First Project: Navigating Towards Commercial Scale Implementation

Alpha's relentless pursuit of pioneering technology is evident as the company nears the conclusion of the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) and finalizes financing arrangements for Stage 2 of the HPA First Project. This stage signifies the comprehensive commercial implementation of Alpha's proprietary aluminium purification process technology, marking a significant leap in the company's pursuit of innovation.

HPA First Project Stage 1 Expansion: Critical Milestones

Alpha is making significant headway in utilizing the $15. 5 million grant from the Critical Minerals Development Program (CMDP). The ongoing deployment focuses on installing a small-scale commercial high-purity aluminas (HPA) circuit within Stage 1 and expanding the Stage 1 PPF's capabilities to encompass Alpha's complete high purity aluminium product spectrum.

Unveiling Enhanced Capacities and Innovations

The comprehensive upgrades and expansions within the HPA circuit are poised to elevate the Stage 1 PPF's production capacity significantly. These advancements will not only expand the production of aluminium nitrate and sulphate but also facilitate additional capacities for various high purity aluminium derivatives, catering to end-users across semiconductor, chemical mechanical polishing (CMP), and synthetic sapphire glass growth sectors.

Commissioning Success: Advancing HPA Production

Alpha has reported substantial advancements in commissioning activities, achieving a commendable ~30kg HPA production per day from the HPA rotary kilns and HPA tunnel kiln calcination circuits combined. The company remains focused on elevating production rates further to ensure optimal HPA output, enabling the provision of essential feedstock for synthetic sapphire production, a collaboration involving Ebner-Fametec and Alpha Sapphire.
