Lithium Universe announces AI-powered Exploration Strategy at Apollo Lithium Project
Lithium Universe Limited (ASX: LU7) has announced the successful development of an AI-powered exploration strategy for the Apollo Lithium Project. Collaborating with KorrAI Technologies Limited in Canada, the company has enhanced field exploration practices and optimised the time and cost spent on fieldwork. This marks the first time Lithium Universe has used Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for developing an exploration strategy.
Using advanced algorithms, KorrAI has created maps that show different geological features on the Apollo property, such as outcrops, pegmatites, and vein formations, by processing and analysing satellite data and images. The company has also used spectral data to help identify areas that are more likely to have valuable mineral deposits. This approach will help guide LU7 field teams to focus on specific locations with high potential while improving the accuracy and efficiency of exploration efforts.
The AI technology has expedited the exploration strategy in three phases, reducing the time and cost of exploration for LU7.

Furthermore, the successful use of AI technology would enable Lithium Universe to potentially fast-track exploration activities that may have otherwise only been forecast to occur 12 months from now.
A study has been conducted at the Apollo property to explore for Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum minerals (LCT) bearing pegmatites using advanced technology like remote sensing, airborne and ground-based geophysics, combined with artificial intelligence. The study has analyzed different types of data, such as visible and infrared light, microwave signals, and magnetic readings, to create a detailed picture of the area. As a result, the AI models have identified 448 priority targets on the Apollo property.
The AI-powered exploration strategy will now be further implemented to other projects by Lithium Universe Limited.
