Perth, Australia - Metals Australia Ltd (ASX: MLS) has announced the identification of multiple lithium-pegmatite targets in its East Pontois and Felicie tenements, located adjacent to the Corvette Lithium Project owned by Patriot Battery Metals (ASX: PMT) in Canada. The company's tenements are situated within the highly-prospective Corvette Lithium Trend, known for its positive drilling results and extensive lithium resources.

Metals Australia's tenements lie within close proximity to the lithium-pegmatite clusters previously identified by Patriot in the Corvette Lithium Trend. Satellite data analysis has confirmed a similar spectral pattern, indicating the presence of large pegmatites with the potential to host significant lithium deposits. These pegmatites have been mapped immediately along the strike from Patriot's high-grade CV lithium pegmatites, providing further evidence of the lithium prospective nature of the area.

In light of these findings, Metals Australia is preparing to conduct fieldwork to sample the pegmatites and determine priority targets for future drilling. This step marks an important milestone in the company's exploration efforts, as it aims to uncover and harness the lithium resources within its tenements.

Patriot Battery Metals has reported highly favourable drilling results within the Corvette Lithium Trend, including intersections of 156. 9 meters at 2. 12% Li2O, with a notable interval of 25 meters at 5. 04% Li2O. Metals Australia's close proximity to these encouraging findings and the spectral similarities detected through satellite data increase the optimism surrounding the potential lithium prospects of its East Pontois and Felicie tenements.

The identification of these lithium-pegmatite targets aligns with Metals Australia's strategic focus on lithium exploration and development. The company remains committed to advancing its exploration efforts in the Corvette Lithium Trend and unlocking the value of its mineral resources.
