Lynas Rare Earths (ASX: LYC, OTC: LYSDY) has achieved a pivotal moment with the commencement of the first feed of material from Mt Weld into the Kalgoorlie Rare Earths Processing Facility. Mixed Rare Earth Carbonate (MREC) from the Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility will be gradually introduced into the Lynas Malaysia plant. This process is expected to commence in the latter part of the March quarter and will steadily increase in tandem with the controlled ramp-up of operations at the Kalgoorlie facility.
