There's no shortage, they just scaled back production so they can keep the prices inflated.

I mean they’re not wrong. Saw more than 5 4090 FE cards at my local NEX which is actually super weird. The sailors are usually big nerds who love to game and buy up this stuff quick.

The crypto mining boom is gone, so there is a need for another manufactured shortage to justify $1000 mid-range GPUs.
