Patriot Battery Metals Inc has revealed the largest lithium pegmatite mineral resource in the Americas and the 8th largest globally. The resource is located at the CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite in the Corvette Property, Quebec. The company has announced this milestone after a 20-month aggressive drill campaign. The resource estimate includes 109. 2 million tonnes at 1. 42% Li2O and 160 ppm Ta2O5 inferred at a cut-off grade of 0. 40% Li2O, making it a Tier 1 spodumene pegmatite asset.

Largest Lithium Pegmatite Resource in the Americas

The CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite has firmly established itself as the largest lithium pegmatite resource in the Americas and one of the top 10 globally. With a single, continuous pegmatite body ranging in true thickness from approximately 8 meters to over 130 meters, the resource extends over a strike length of 3. 7 kilometers. Multiple subordinate lenses flank the principal pegmatite body. The successful maiden mineral resource estimate only includes the CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite and not the other known spodumene pegmatite clusters on the Property.

Growth Potential and Future Exploration

The CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite still holds significant growth potential, as it remains open at both ends along strike and to depth along a large portion of its length. The resource estimate opens up possibilities for further resource expansion. Additionally, the Property boasts multiple known spodumene pegmatite clusters that are yet to be drill tested. Over 20 kilometers of the prospective trend remains unexplored for lithium pegmatite at Corvette. The company plans to aggressively advance infill and step-out drilling, as well as development studies at CV5.
