Put a chat widget on your website. No joke - I'm in a lead oriented business and for the longest time we had a contact form on our website and that's how leads could contact us and whenever we saw their email we would follow up. We then experimented with a chat widget in the corner of our website that says something like "Need an estimate? Ask us here!". Rather than a chatbot, it was more of a disguised opt in form, as we would ask for the customers for a phone number before they submitted their message. We then automated it so it would immediately text the customer something like "Hey John! Thanks for reaching out to us, I'm happy to help. Can you tell me more details about the project?". It would send me a text saying "John is a new lead! His number is 18888888888. Contact him asap", and as soon as I got that text I would text (or preferably call) the lead immediately. Our tracking showed we were getting infinitely more leads from the chat widget than a contact form. My guess it is because the contact form seems a little more traditional and motononous for customers, and customers often don't care enough to fill it out because they don't think youll get back to them for awhile. A chat widget is more associated with immediate help. Just some friendly advice, worked well for us. Entrepreneur

Looks like we're going through something, but who would have thought with all these tarrifs, inflation and trade wars going on
