Should I make my dad CEO of my 10 yr old company? - - The business I founded is currently generating 2 million dollars annually, not very profitably but not at a loss.. kinda break even
- He’s very business savvy and there wouldn’t be a better ceo than him, and he’s willing to do it.
- I’ve proven I’m not the best ceo.. I like the product creation and branding side more than anything else and would continue doing that.
- I kinda feel like it wouldn’t be perceived well by others. Others might think my dad was behind the company all along, even though I created it and built it. He’ll make it massively grow I’m sure, and it might discredit to others what I’ve done.. but that’s ego stuff.
- edit to add: business is currently 100% owned by me, no investors and no board of directors
