Notably, as the Chief Executive Officer of Grande Cote Operations for Mineral Deposits Limited, he led the ramp-up to nameplate capacity of a world-class mineral sands operation in Senegal, West Africa. His expertise includes optimisation of mineral resources, maximising project economics, and ensuring safe and efficient production.
Unlocking the Full Potential of the Coburn Project
Strandline Chair, Didier Murcia, highlighted the company's rapid growth from a small explorer to a significant mineral sands producer, necessitating increased resources across the business. Mr. Murcia expressed confidence in Mr. Patarica's appointment, stating that his technical knowledge and management experience would be invaluable to Strandline as they unlock the full value of the Coburn project in Western Australia.
The Coburn project, located in WA, has been developed successfully under the leadership of Managing Director Luke Graham, who has navigated notable challenges such as labor and supply chain constraints, high cost inflation, and industry-wide delays.
