Tesla now suggests 80% battery charge is best? - What gives... I have a 2019 model 3 (Sr+) and I'm just noticing today the green reminder now suggest charging to 80% rather than 90% for daily driving. What's your experience and should I drop down to 80% now?

After the update I got the same recommendation. From that day on I just charge her to 80% unless I’m going to use more for a road trip.

Probably pulled data that shows how much people actually use the car day to day and adjusted the suggested limit accordingly.

No sense in putting extra strain on the pack if you don't have to

FWIW, my 2018 3LR still says 90%
