Trek Metals Commences Maiden Drilling Program at Tambourah Lithium Project in Western Australia

Trek Metals Limited (ASX: TKM) has announced the commencement of its maiden drilling program at the Tambourah Lithium Project in Western Australia. The project, which is 100% owned by Trek Metals, is located approximately 70 kilometers southeast of the renowned Pilgangoora lithium deposit in the Pilbara region.

The drilling program consists of 19 holes, covering a total distance of 3800 meters. Its primary objective is to test multiple previously identified pegmatite dykes that contain spodumene, a lithium-bearing mineral. The program is expected to last for one month, with the subsequent four-week period dedicated to awaiting assay results.

The Tambourah Lithium Project holds significant potential in the rapidly growing lithium market. Situated near the world-class Pilgangoora lithium deposit, it benefits from its favorable location within the highly prospective Pilbara region.

The drilling program aims to confirm the presence and quality of lithium-bearing pegmatite dykes, which would pave the way for further exploration and development activities.
