Voltaic Strategic Resources Initiates Exploration Efforts at Ti Tree

Post image

Regional wide-spaced pXRF soil survey and geological mapping campaigns are currently underway at Ti Tree Project, specifically targeting the 'Morpheus', 'Lewis', and 'Akira' prospects.

Voltaic Strategic Resources Ltd (ASX:VSR) has recently initiated a comprehensive regional soil survey and geological mapping campaign to identify new drill targets at its Ti Tree Lithium Project. The project aims to assess the potential of the 'Morpheus', 'Lewis', and 'Akira' prospects, among others.

Identifying Drill Targets

The company's current campaigns involve a wide-spaced portable XRF (pXRF) soil survey and geological mapping to pinpoint areas of interest for the upcoming Phase 3 drill program. The surveys are being conducted at the 'Morpheus', 'Lewis', and 'Akira' prospects as part of the larger Ti Tree Project.

Prioritising High-Priority Anomalies

The maiden drill program, planned to cover approximately 2,500 meters of RC drilling, will prioritise areas with high-priority surface geochemical anomalies at Morpheus, Lewis, and Akira. These three prospects are among the 18 priority target areas identified at Ti Tree, where extensive pegmatite mapping has already been carried out.

Deeper Drilling at Andrada

Voltaic Strategic Resources is also planning to conduct deeper drilling at Andrada. This phase of drilling aims to delineate bounding lithological contacts and examine untested lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) potential plunge target areas. The company is currently working on the logistics and access for the drill campaign, with several Permit to Operate (POW) applications already approved.

Field Work and Pathfinder Soil Anomalies

Recent field work conducted by Voltaic has revealed further outcropping pegmatites over newly identified pathfinder soil anomalies at the Morpheus and Lewis prospect areas. This valuable information, obtained through the use of portable XRF (pXRF) instruments, has contributed to the ongoing geological interpretation and drill targeting efforts.

Enhanced Data through Geophysical Surveys

Concurrently with the soil surveys and mapping campaigns, Voltaic has initiated plans for airborne drone magnetic, radiometric, and photogrammetry surveys across Ti Tree South. These surveys, scheduled to begin in early August, will provide additional data and high-resolution imagery, further enhancing the geological interpretation and refining the drill targeting process.

CEO's Optimism for Drilling Activities

Voltaic's Chief Executive Officer, Michael Walshe, expressed his optimism for the upcoming drilling activities. He highlighted the valuable insights gained from the maiden campaign, which have helped identify the primary structural controls and extensive subsurface presence of pegmatite clusters across Ti Tree South. Walshe also mentioned that the learnings from the campaign and ongoing field reconnaissance are being utilised to delineate high-priority drill targets within the more prospective Morpheus, Lewis, and Akira prospect areas.
