Voltaic Strategic Resources Provides Ti Tree Project Update

Voltaic Strategic Resources (ASX:VSR) has shared an update on its Ti Tree project, specifically the maiden drill program at the Andrada prospect. The company has received approximately 50% of the assay results, with the remaining results expected in approximately two weeks.

The drilling conducted at Andrada has confirmed that the pegmatites conform to the classic LCT 'Goldilocks' model, with zonation and fractionation increasing outward from the parental granite source. Initial results indicate a progressive increase in lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) grades with depth, and tantalum concentrations increasing radially to the north/northeast.

The pegmatite widths with LCT anomalism at Andrada are encouraging, suggesting that they may represent the outer halo of a larger mineralized system at depth. Furthermore, all pegmatites have been confirmed as albite-rich, which is commonly associated with spodumene LCT pegmatite systems.

The insights gained from the initial results have significantly bolstered the regional exploration vectoring model, enabling Voltaic Strategic Resources to conduct highly targeted follow-up campaigns.

Moving forward, there is still much to explore at Ti Tree, with over 400 pegmatites mapped and 18 regional prospect areas identified. Deeper drilling will be required to fully understand the project's potential. Airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys have already commenced across the Gascoyne projects, with Ti Tree scheduled to be flown in the coming weeks. Additionally, a regional pXRF soil sampling campaign is underway to identify new drill targets at the 'priority 1' Morpheus and Akira prospects, which are believed to reside in the interpreted 'Goldilocks' zone. These prospects will be the focus of forthcoming drill targets in the current quarter.

Voltaic Strategic Resources Limited is eagerly awaiting the complete assay results and is optimistic about the potential of the Ti Tree project.

But semiconductor manufacturing isn’t something you can rush, it’s a complex, slow-moving process that takes years of precision and experience. Intel could recover some ground eventually, but framing them as the savior of American chipmaking feels more like a political talking point than a practical reality.
