Production Capacity: The refinery is set to produce lithium carbonate of at least 99.

Lithium Carbonate Production: The process includes heating, reacting with sodium carbonate, and further purification to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate.

Draft Site Layout Considerations

Adaptation to Canadian Climate: The draft layout accounts for Canadian climate conditions, optimizing the delivery of raw materials and shipment logistics. Environmental Compliance: The design includes measures like cyclones and electrostatic precipitators to meet environmental emissions limits.

Optimal Location for the Refinery

Bécancour Industrial Park: Following an extensive location study, Lithium Universe has chosen the Bécancour Industrial Park, situated between Québec City and Montreal, for its refinery.

Strategic Collaboration: The company is in talks with Société du parc industriel et portuaire de Bécancour (SPIPB) regarding this location.
