New Found Gold Corp. is at the forefront of a mining renaissance, with its 100% owned Queensway gold project, spanning a vast 1,662 square kilometers in Newfoundland, Canada. Located just 15 kilometers west of Gander, this ambitious venture is rewriting the narrative of gold exploration and discovery in the region.

A String of Remarkable Discoveries

The company's journey commenced in late 2019 when it drilled its initial discovery hole, NFGC-19-012, at the Keats Zone. This hole turned heads with an astounding 19 meters of 92. 9 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au), setting the stage for what would become a remarkable exploration story.

Subsequently, New Found Gold unveiled the Lotto Zone, located approximately 2 kilometers north of Keats, which yielded high-grade results of 41.

2 g/t Au over 4. 75 meters and 25. 4 g/t Au over 5. 15 meters in NFGC-20-172. The company was on a relentless quest to uncover the secrets of the Queensway gold project.

In June 2021, the Golden Joint Zone entered the spotlight with a spectacular interval of 430 g/t Au over 5. 25 meters in hole NFGC-21-2412. This newfound treasure trove, nestled between the Keats and Lotto Zones, added another layer of intrigue to the Queensway project.

Fast forward to September 2022, and New Found Gold Corp. unearthed the first of several new high-grade gold zones on the west side of the Appleton Fault Zone (AFZ). The Keats West Zone stood out with gold intercepts like 42. 6 g/t Au over 32. 00 meters in NFGC-22-9603, further elevating the project's prospects.

Expanding Horizons with Iceberg and Beyond

In March 2023, the company announced the discovery of the Iceberg Zone, situated along the Keats-Baseline Fault Zone (KBFZ). This structural kin to the Keats Main Zone demonstrated its potential with an impressive 105 g/t Au over 27. 05 meters in hole NFGC-23-12101. The Iceberg-Iceberg East segment has already been defined over a strike length of 665 meters, reinforcing the strength of the gold system along the KBFZ.

Continuing northward, New Found Gold unveiled three additional zones in May 2023: Monte Carlo, K2, and Everest. These discoveries extended the AFZ mineralized envelope, bringing its current strike length to a substantial 4. 1 kilometers. Monte Carlo, K2, and Everest each played their part in enhancing the project's allure.

The Jackpot: A Shining Star

Adding to its growing list of triumphs, New Found Gold Corp. recently announced the discovery of the Jackpot zone. This high-grade, at-surface discovery stunned with an intercept of 95. 7 g/t Au over 3. 25 meters in hole NFGC-23-12921. The Jackpot is located a mere 280 meters east of the AFZ and sits at a shallow vertical depth of just 20 meters.

Beyond the excitement of exploration in the north, the company's commitment extends to Queensway South, where targeted follow-up drilling campaigns and grassroots exploration efforts are underway for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Seismic Insights: Unveiling the Deeper Layers

Currently, New Found Gold Corp. is making waves with its industry-leading 3D seismic survey at Queensway North. This ambitious program, announced in March 2023 and initiated on June 25, 2023, promises to provide a deeper understanding of the local gold system's intricacies. With the ability to explore areas further from the AFZ, the company aims to test identified targets from the survey by October 2023, setting the stage for potential game-changing revelations.
