Since its inception, Chatree has produced about 1. 8 million ounces of gold and 8 million ounces of silver. It operated at a rate of around 125,000 to 135,000 ounces annually until mining activities in Thailand were halted in December 2016, leading to the mine's care and maintenance status.

Following the Thai Government's 2016 decision to cease all gold mining, Kingsgate has been actively seeking remedies to continue its operations at Chatree, emphasizing the company's resilience and adaptability under challenging circumstances.

In 2009, Kingsgate expanded into South America by acquiring the Arqueros Project in Chile. This expansion continued with more acquisitions, culminating in the consolidation of the Nueva Esperanza Project in the Maricunga Gold/Silver Belt of northern Chile.

The Nueva Esperanza Project stands as a testament to Kingsgate's strategic growth. The Pre-Feasibility Study released in April 2016 outlines an ambitious plan, projecting an average production of 91,000 ounces per annum of gold equivalent for 11. 6 years. The project boasts an increased Ore Reserve of 1. 1 million ounces and a total Mineral Resource base of 1. 9 million ounces.
