Brinsden, transitioning from his previous role as Non-Executive Chair, will now be based in Montreal, Quebec, to directly oversee the project's development. Pierre Boivin, a Quebec resident and a seasoned lawyer with over 40 years of experience in business law, notably in the resources sector, steps into the role of Non-Executive Chair from Non-Executive Director. His extensive expertise, particularly in the mining and oil and gas sectors, will provide valuable guidance to the company.

Shifting Roles Within the Executive Team

The current CEO/President, Blair Way, will transition to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role while retaining his position on the Executive Board. Way's shift to COO is seen as a strategic move to build out capacity in Quebec in support of the Corvette Project's development. The Corvette Project, located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, is at the heart of these leadership changes. The project, which is entirely owned by Patriot Battery Metals, hosts the CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite. With a maiden mineral resource estimate of 109. 2 Mt at 1. 42% Li2O inferred, the CV5 ranks as the largest lithium pegmatite resource in the Americas based on contained lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE).
