Latin Resources Limited (ASX: LRS) is delighted to announce the latest assay results from the ongoing drilling activities at the Salinas Lithium Project in Brazil. These results further demonstrate the positive high-grade lithium potential at the Colina Deposit, Fog's Block, and a newly discovered pegmatite.

Assay Results Confirm Significant Lithium Mineralization at Colina Deposit

The Colina Infill drilling program has produced favorable assay results, reinforcing the significant lithium mineralization discovered at the Colina Deposit. Noteworthy outcomes include a long intercept of 9. 94m with a grade of 1. 50% Li2O from a depth of 328. 91m, along with several other promising results.

Visual Observations Supported by Assay Results at Fog's Block

The assay results from the Fog's Block, located approximately 12km southwest of the existing Colina Deposit, have confirmed the visual spodumene observations. These findings align with the company's geological interpretation of the Colina mineralized system, proving the presence of substantial lithium mineralization. Notably, drill hole MCDD002 yielded a noteworthy result of 13. 06m with a grade of 1. 34% Li2O, including a higher-grade intercept of 6. 06m with a grade of 1. 61% Li2O.

District Scale Potential and Future Expansion

With a total of 118 holes drilled, covering a distance of 39,360m since January 2023 as part of the broader 65,000m drilling program, Latin Resources Limited remains optimistic about the district scale potential of the Colina MRE footprint. The company anticipates expanding the current resource category, upgrading it to indicated and measured, which would increase tonnage and overall project value.

Expediting Drilling Activities and Exploration

To accelerate the drilling campaign, Latin Resources Limited has deployed three additional diamond drilling rigs, bringing the total to eleven rigs operating at the Salinas Project. This concerted effort is aimed at infill drilling, extending the Colina Lithium Deposit, conducting targeted metallurgical drilling, and exploring newly identified high-priority regional targets.
