Australian lithium developer, Wildcat Resources Limited, has reported new assay results from its Tabba Tabba Lithium Project in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The latest data from the Leia Pegmatite, part of the Central Cluster, shows that the company has hit 180m at 1. 1% Li2O, which confirms the existence of a Tier-1 lithium deposit in the area.

Significant Results Showing Exploration Potential

The Leia Pegmatite is over 1. 65km long and up to 180m wide, extending to more than 350m vertical depth and is still open both laterally and at depth. The assay results also reveal several broad intersections of high-grade lithium mineralisation, including 70m at 1. 0% Li2O, 98m at 0.

8% Li2O, and 40m at 1. 2% Li2O, establishing Tabba Tabba as among the best lithium development opportunities globally.

Wildcat Resources has completed 137 RC drill holes, three diamond tails, and three diamond drill holes for 29,613m since commencing drilling activities in July 2023. The company is continuing an aggressive exploration campaign across six significant pegmatite prospects within the 3. 2km long field, with more than 34 holes from Leia still awaiting results.

Confirming the Existence of a Significant Lithium Deposit

Wildcat's Managing Director, Samuel Ekins, stated that the thick and high-grade assay results being obtained from the Leia Pegmatite are convincing, and the Project's Tier-1 lithium deposit is becoming increasingly apparent. The location of Tabba Tabba on Mining Leases with proximity to infrastructure near the world's most prolific hard rock lithium mining district makes it a promising development opportunity.

The Tabba Tabba project is in the vicinity of some large lithium mines, including the Pilgangoora Project and the Wodgina Project. Currently, Wildcat Resources has mobilised its two diamond rigs to focus on drilling at the discovery at depth, expanding resources, and taking samples for metallurgical analysis.

In conclusion, Wildcat Resources' latest assay results confirm the existence of a Tier-1 lithium deposit at Tabba Tabba in the Pilbara, which is poised to become one of the best lithium development opportunities globally. The company's aggressive exploration campaign aims to uncover abundant lithium mineralisation potential in the area.
